Renewed contract but charged wrong price

I renewed my broadband contract on the 1st April 2024 for 500Mb at £28.74 per month with no add-ons and this is reflected in my contract & pre contract, but my bill shows otherwise and plusnet is charging 32.99 per month instead.

This seems like a common occurrence as shown on the forums and is a breach of contract

Re: Renewed contract but charged wrong price

Hi @alasdairhurst Do you know if your billing date is the same as your renewal date?

Is this the date that you agreed the renewal? As sometimes it's not the same date as it takes time for the renewal to process.

Re: Renewed contract but charged wrong price

@ClaudiaG23 The billing date was not the same as the renewal date. The billing period was continuous from my previous contract (27.44). Given this, I expected an intermediary bill somewhere between 27.44 and 28.74.

Re: Renewed contract but charged wrong price

I have yet again been overcharged this month. £30.16 instead of £28.74.

My contract online yet again has reverted to the incorrect £32.99

That's now an overcharge of at least £5.53 over two months.
