BBC iPlayer say I'm not in the UK!

Hello,
I've just tries to use BBC's iPlayer, but I'm faced with a message claiming that I'm coming from an IP address not registered in the UK, so I can't watch any video.
I've tried a couple of browsers and rebooted my router and am now on a different gateway - no change.
Is this just me? Is it a BBC fault? Any ideas?

Aha, I guess it may be a BBC thing as random program clicking allows me to watch a show every 1 in 10 (ish), but obviously not the one that I want!

I guess I should wait it out, unless someone has a possible cure.
Tried: rebooting router, quitting browser, different browsers. I can't reboot my machine as it's busy doing something.

It must be a BBC thing... it should sort itself out, but as you're on a static IP you'll get the same one each time you reconnect. I can switch this for a dynamic IP if you want, but if you've requested a static I can understand you not wanting to.

Hello all,
Many thanks for taking the time and trouble to help me out - much appreciated.
However, it appears it must have been a BBC glitch as iPlayer now works well.
Now, can someone tell me how to turn back time so I can post my original message without the sloppy typos?

doesn't it allow you to 'modify'?  can't say as i'm too bothered by lousy spelling, incorrect usage, rotten grammar, imperfect punctuation and all those heinous sins pertaining to the (mis)use of the beautiful and expressive english language, but there you go.

yes you can even change the title, by going to your first post, click modify and put the word solved at the end of the title,  Any other entries can likewise be modified
