Banding removal

Hi

Could the banding on my line be lifted, I have been synced for 80 days without a disconnect.

Many residents in my area have come off VDSL as fibre is now available so there should be less crosstalk than there was.

Thanks

@zpeterk

How do you know that your line is banded? The automatic DLM should automatically adjust for any change in cross talk.

What SNR is your hub reporting?

So downstream  tops out at 55 Mbps. Do you by any chance have a static IP address?

Re: Banding removal

Hopefully a member of the help team will pick this up soon as it could be an Openreach banding issue or a Plusnet setting that’s exclusive to those with a static IP address.

@zpeterk

If FTTP is available have you considered moving to it. Speeds should be close to the package you choose. I'm on FF74 and consistenly get above 70 down.

@zpeterk

Fair enough. Without swallowing early termination charges your'e stuck with PN until near the end of your contract or OpenReach put in an appearance to install FTTP.
