Broadband hub restarts if receive landline call

I have a recurring issue that my broadband drops out if I receive a call to my landline phone, then the hub restarts afterwards. It’s very inconvenient as I get kicked off work video calls when the phone rings unexpectedly. I’ve tried seeking help by texting the Plusnet number, the team say they are calling me (on my mobile) but I never receive any calls from them, only the message to say they didn’t get through. How can I get in touch to have this fixed?

Re: Broadband hub restarts if receive landline call

@firtree it sounds like a filtering issue. Do you have a filter connected or not? Are you able to take a picture of the socket for us?

I did test the line and it was showing nothing on there that could be causing the issue.

Re: Broadband hub restarts if receive landline call

Hi Will, thanks for your reply. We had a plug in to enable connecting both landline and broadband. We have now removed it and just plugged broadband directly into the wall socket. That means we no longer have a landline connection. Please see photos attached.

@firtree you should have received a dsl filter ( similar to this , ) with your router. Use that in the socket, anythat should enable both the router and phone to be connecteddsl-filter.jpg
