Changing wifi channel

When I use Bluetooth speakers the signal drops in and out. I've been told that it is due to conflict channels being used by WiFi and bluetooth and to change the WiFi channel to a different one?

My response is eh? What is a channel? how do I change it? and to what?

Re: Changing wifi channel

Ask in My Router thread not the ADSL one; include your router model details.

Have you not checked your manual or an online version for the answer?

Re: Changing wifi channel

Welcome to the community forums @Stubbs04

If you login to your router settings at http://192.168.1.254 you should be able to change the WiFi channel by navigating to Basic or Advanced Settings (Depending on the type of your router you have and assuming you're using a Plusnet router).

It's generally a bit of trial and error, but the channels go from 1 to 11 with it usually being set at Automatic by default.

Hope this helps.
