@Gandalf Back now, but confirm that still same download rate as previous i.e. circa 60 as opposed to circa 72Mbps...

Hi there, I hope you enjoyed your time away and sorry that your speeds are still below estimates. I've just been running some diagnostic tests which don't show any obvious causes. Do you have access to a different router you could try out just so we can eliminate that as a potential cause?

Thanks for letting me know, just to double check is that also over a wired connection? If so have you also swapped all the cables out (network cable and the DSL cable?)

It's a wired connection.

Many thanks for confirming that @beepitybeepbeep. I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you and for any inconvenience that the speed issue is causing. As our tests aren't finding the cause from here, we'll need to arrange an engineer visit so that this can be investigated further. Please can you confirm your availability for an engineer? Appointment slots are 8am - 1pm or 1pm - 6pm Monday - Friday.

Openreach should be coming out to see you next Friday 09.09.22 between 8am to 1pm.

Oddly this was the first available appointment slot in your area. They must also be busy. Sad
