Is ADSL slowly "dying" ?

Once I had ADSL 2+ at 18,000 kbps 3dB SNRM
Then I had ADSL 2+ at 15,000 6dB
Now I appear to only have ADSL 2+ at 14,000 9 dB
Coming soon: ADSL 2+ at 12 dB, 15 dB, 18 dB...?

I should emphasise, this is on the same phone line. Whose basic physical characteristics seem to have remained substantially unchanged over time.

@pvmb

What hasn’t remained unchanged is the number of subscribers to broadband. This is causing increased crosstalk, which is slowing broadband. Roll on FTTP!

...That is what I was thinking.

Along with: "Where is it?"
