No connection after activation

I am past the midnight activation time on my internet set up and still getting an orange flashing light. I’ve looked on the router page and it still reads ‘not connected’ and no details about my service or speeds etc below. Not sure how to proceed? I’ve reset the router and still no result.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you!

@LawDan A quick answer, but no guarantee it will sort it - try rebooting the Hub. Also check the DSL cable is fully home at both ends - take it out and reinsert it, making sure it 'clicks' into place.

@LawDan is the router connected to the BT master socket ?
Have you had broadband at the property previously ?

Yes it’s connected to the left side of the BT master socket. I’ve reset all the cables ensuring they are clicked into place, I’ve reset the router and waited and still getting an orange flashing light.
The property was previously linked with Sky which has been fully cancelled and had no issues with the connection before.

In that case I suggest you call Customer services and find out what's happening.
Flashing orange on the router means you have not been connected yet.
