Problems watching Channel4 app on Apple TV

Hi
i have an Apple TV box ( model A2737[64GB) which I use to make my old TV a smart TV so I can watch my streaming services
all was ok initially with all the streaming services but now when I try to watch Channel 4 the following message appears ’All 4 content is not available in your current location’
I live in the UK so should be able to watch it
any ideas anyone
apologies if I have posted in wrong topic but I am assuming it’s a broadband or internet settings issue

Maybe your IP is misconfigured (at the ISP end) to somewhere that C4 thinks you're outside the UK.
When you go to https://www.whatismyip.com/ where does it say you are?

Hi, yes already tried this and am in London. Spoke to helpful chap at Plusnet this morning and he confirmed my IP address is in the UK. We couldn’t solve the problem but fortunately I can get Channel 4 via my Sky Go app. Very odd as the All4 app works fine on my iPad.
I think the problem only started when I went onto my new Plusnet contract in April and I have only just noticed the issue.

Some of the PLusnet IP ranges were originally USA based. They have long since been re-registered in the UK. Its possible that Channel 4 are using an out of date geolocation database.
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
