Thanks @OhWell   it would be worth keeping an eye on those sync speeds, rather than the speed tests, although they don't have the history function.

I can't help but think they could be better though.

Having seen the 'estimated' copper length on the GEA test earlier, I am now wondering about the accuracy of the BTW estimates.

I remember when I moved to my current ISP, I asked for the best option speed/cost wise and spent a while discussing this with their sales/tech guys. Their honest opinion was that it was not cot effective for me to go to the 80/20 product as the best they would realistically offer was 65Mbps, providing the copper section (at an estimated length of 395m) was in tip-top condition and they didn't/couldn't know that.

The OPs copper length - estimated according to the GEA test is 535m - considerably longer - so I would guess a figure lower than that quoted to me for his achievable,

I'll see if I can find the data links I was provided at the time - it appears for some reason I didn't add them to my 'useful info' file.
