@LaurenB If I read those logs correctly, the OP is getting PPP drops, which could explain the speed reductions, if DLM is feeling aggressive.

Here are the filtered PPP logs, not sure if it gives any clues. It seems to have held the 65mbps sync for 9 days before dropping down again.

Any more thoughts as to why my sync didn’t hold for longer than 9 days at the faster speed of 65mbps?

The only thing that stands out in those extracts is that you are still getting PPP drops, for some reason, but they are lacking in detail as they do not contain the connection speed and SNRM figures on reconnection. I'm also mystified why you appear to be connected on IPV6 when PN do not offer it, but that could be a red-herring.

Just looked at my log out of interest and that has "PPP IPV6CP Send Configuration Request" lines too. Most odd!

Interesting, @dgilbert2 Wonder if anyone with experience of the Hub2 and networking can throw any light on it - I have no chance as I am not with PN and use a Fritzbox anyway.

That's because Category "PPP" has been selected, you need to select Category "WAN", you should see something like

Cheers @Dan_the_Van - having never seen or used a Hub (of either variety) I have to rely on whatever crumbs of information I glean from others, such as yourself.
Edit :- that suggests the WAN log would be more useful?

My Hub Two is in bridge mode so I only see DSL events, PPP are events are not seen those appear in the router logs.
I would say both WAN and PPP logs are of interest, I would look at WAN category as this is where DSL down/up and events are seen.
As previously stated it is possible to export the event log as a CSV file which makes it easier to view. You can export 'All' or which every category you require.

Under the text box there is a paper clip enabling selection of file to attach.

In answer to "Any more thoughts as to why my sync didn’t hold for longer than 9 days at the faster speed of 65mbps? "
You have had a few DSL Link down messages on the following dates
00:35:14, 16 May. DSL Link Down: duration was 768187 seconds
00:35:51, 16 May. DSL Link Up: Down Rate=60804kbps, Up Rate=20000kbps; SNR Margin Down=6.5dB, Up=6.4dB
03:11:39, 07 May. DSL Link Down: duration was 3108938 seconds
03:12:16, 07 May. DSL Link Up: Down Rate=65559kbps, Up Rate=20000kbps; SNR Margin Down=6.2dB, Up=6.5dB
03:35:33, 01 Apr. DSL Link Down: duration was 177695 seconds
03:36:09, 01 Apr. DSL Link Up: Down Rate=60442kbps, Up Rate=20000kbps; SNR Margin Down=6.5dB, Up=6.4dB
02:13:29, 30 Mar. DSL Link Down: duration was 2275945 seconds
02:14:06, 30 Mar. DSL Link Up: Down Rate=63681kbps, Up Rate=20000kbps; SNR Margin Down=6.5dB, Up=6.4dB
DSL link Up all within a 60 seconds of Down
DSL down between the hours of 00:01 and 04:00 are sometimes as a result of overnight maintenance by BT and can usually be ignored
HTH
Dan.
Edit : is there a category for DSL in the event logs?

Thanks @Dan_the_Van
I do still wonder why it doesn’t seem to like holding at the faster sync speeds and drops to just above the hand back threshold?

Could be the Dynamic Line Management being a bit dynamic! or it's all than can be squeezed out of your connection.
