Unlimited Fibre and line rental speed reduction after openreach fixed noisy phone line

I called Plusnet start of the month as my BB was dropping out a great deal, after having been lovely and stable. In particular each time the phone was lifted for a dial tone (which was very noisy) the BB would drop. Engineer fixed the noise issue and line was now dead quiet. BB speed came up to near the same which hitherto was 37/38Mbps. But over the following several days it has dropped to 30/31/32 as it is now.

Is this a Plusnet problem? I note from the account page the estimate for my connection has dropped to 28/31 and it used to show near what I used to get.

Have you checked whether the noise has returned?

Still perfectly quiet and quiet on the BT quite line test.
