On a daily basis, I am experiencing a very unreliable ethernet connection from my router, which is a few feet away from my desktop PC.
On average, speed tests reveal that I'm clocking around 8mbps download, and 3mbps upload. In most online games, this equates to an average of 80-90 ping, which is very unusual compared to a comfortable 20-25 ping.
I'm at a loss as to what could be causing this - no downloads are going on in the background, and other gamers in my house don't have any issues.
Any ideas what it could be? Appreciate the support.
