The text option is queued outside those hours and picked up during them.

Re: the infinite loop of support page

Get it. I can send a text.
It does not change the weird way the user flow is designed and described on plusnet website.

@Iloveplusnot Most people don't seem to have a problem.

Re: the infinite loop of support page

100% correct.
Almost 8 billion people do not use plusnet website.

Re: the infinite loop of support page

Very funny. Even you should be capable of understanding that I was referring to PN customers.

Re: the infinite loop of support page

No sure what you mean by 'even you'.
I guess you asked most of PN customers.
I have no reason to doubt the data you collected.

Re: the infinite loop of support page

My final comment on this subject, as I have no desire to enter into a long pointless 'discussion'. The Help & Support pages clearly give guidance and options for obtaining help, but basically, you can ring in, click this link ( https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/broadband/ ) or ask for help via the Community.

🤣

What's the problem? Plus, are you on ADSL, FFTC or FTTP?

Have you a landline phone to listen to your landline (if on ADSL or FTTC)?

You can also start an automatic line check yourself by texting: "PHONE <landline number>" to 07800 008121

For more subtle difficulties, this forum is the best place to get help. But Plusnet staff are only available during working hours.

Re: the infinite loop of support page

@pvmb You ask a very pertinent question -'What's the problem?' The OP never said, and as you correctly point out, it is usually quicker to get help via the Community - someone with experience/knowledge is usually around well out of official support hours.

Re: the infinite loop of support page

I get it, I can text. I have figured it out before posting, would you believe.
I see no reason for your sarcastic comments for pointing out a poor user experience on Plusnet support pages.

The link is not working.
Most people do not click that link. That link is not for clicking.
You can also remember the full URL and type in the search bar.
Problem solved. Next.

I am a bit disappointed. I really expected:
-

have you tried turning it off and on again

Well, have you? 🙂

It seems to me that it does advise you of the various options via that Slow Connection route. It also advises how to inform Plusnet if you need them to look into it further and you report a fault. So... it's up to you what you choose to do.
