Static IP

Please can someone enable a Static IP on my connection? cannot find any settings to do this via the website... thanks!

Try this -

Login to your Plusnet  Member Centre

Navigate to Connection Settings 

Click on the link named  Static IP  where you should be able to activate the static IP

Thanks for the response. 

I have tried doing this, which is what it says to do everywhere. But no "Static IP" link shows on that page for me...

Hmm.. that is where it is on my account (I checked before I posted the reply).

 

On some types of account, activating a  Static IP  used to be under the "Add-ons" section  https://www.plus.net/AddOns.html

...that just says:

"Currently there are no Add-Ons available for your account.

Keep checking here for new Add-Ons, as-and-when they become available."

I have seen some threads saying a plusnet support person needs to do something behind the scenes...

I am on a very old package so I don't know for certain but is it the case it is only available on certain packages?

Hopefully a staff member will pick this up and will enable it for you. I believe there is a one off £5 charge for this. Not sure if that is still the case.

It is a relatively new business package - Static IP should be free Smiley

Ah ok, maybe your account needs some updating then as it is new?

Hi all, it's not possible to add IPs to an account prior to activation, do message me with your username if it's still an issue though and I'll get it sorted out.
