Checked Madasfish they do not offer anything cut price

I added up the line rental £1 more, the international calls £1 more and the talk anytime 50p more ,  isn't that £2.50 or am I doing it wrong.  Thanks JamesM for your support.

Hi there
Its a max of  £ 2.00 , line rental £1.00 ( inc eve and weekend calls)  and £1.00 for anytime calls and 300 international mins or £ 0.50 for anytime calls , hope that helps

I thought I might have been missing something  
There are two prices
Line rental going up by £1
Then you have two optional addon packages
Either Talk Anytime (50p increase) or Talk Anytime International (£1 increase) but you only have one of them
My first thought was to check how many calls I make during the weekday and unfortunately too many to drop down to Evening and Weekend

I can't see any mention of a change to the annual line rental saver. Is this staying the same to compete with Talktalk which is equivalent to £9-50 per month ?
The rise in the anytime call plan is about 14% which is way above inflation. I wish my pension increased at the same rate.

BT is increasing its prices in January. Plusnet is increasing its in October. Plusnet's Line Rental Saver was introduced  on 6 December 2011. If Plusnet had increased its prices on the same date as BT those of us on LRS would have had the chance to pay for another year at a lower price. When the extra charge for Caller Display are taken into account the monthly costs of PN telephone service are not much different to BT's.
Will there be a Line Rental Saver offer after 28th October? If so what will be the new cost?

I am very disappointed that you have locked the thread I started, "PN absorbed into BT?", in favour of this one, which does not deal with the same point at all.
In this thread the statement is "Unfortunately there was an oversight with the first batch of emails that resulted in them being sent from an incorrect sender address".
'Oversight'? How can an oversight insert a BT e-mail address into an e-mail 'from' PN?
Are there plans to absorb PN into BT? (It would not be surprising if there were.)

If two companies share the same mass email then it could well happen.

Would PN be willing to offer a pro-rata refund on the Line Rental Saver in the event it did happen?
This would reassure subscribers taking up this offer – and since no such merger is in prospect, it would cost you absolutely nothing.

But tomorrow is another day  with no plans. Given the present financial climate, what is to say that BT would not be looking into cost savings pretty thoroughly? If they considered some sort of closer relationship than now of net benefit, who would think they would not  act?

I was expecting Plusnet to increase phone prices once BT had announced their increases. I'm guessing the margins on the phone service need to be increased to allow the headline price of cheap broadband. to remain the same in the adverts. Not totally unreasonable. The inclusion of new destinations in the Anytime International package is interesting, although I suspect that most of the market for calls to India, Pakistan and China will already have found other ways to make cheap/free calls.
The silence about the cost (or even the continued existence) of Line Rental Saver is worrying.
