Launch of new Plusnet Fibre Products - 80/20 and 250GB usage allowance

@ Picnic, I hope so because mine did exactly the same.  I'm sure I've seen this mentioned before when anyone with Line Rental Saver does a product change it shows the standard line rental on the screen.

This has worked out nice for us.
I ran through the product change in the account, turns of we were on an international phone package that we didn't need and together with the new fibre pricing it's now going to cost us £3.00 less per month

Pretty sure it's always done that. Not ideal I'll agree but I'm fairly confident you'll not encounter any unpleasant surprises come account change day.

They're taken straight from here. Incidentally mine's pretty conservative. It says 64.6Mbps when in reality I'm synchronised at 79999kbps (although I only get around 60Mbps due to the bottleneck caused by my 200Mbps powerline adapters).

I am pleased to say I have signed up after running the trial for a few months now. The monthly allowance did it for me. Until then I was simply waiting for my contract to run out to switch providers. Well done PlusNet for listening to your customers.

I like the look of the new packages. 
I've elected to upgrade to Extra (was on the 80/20 trial ex 40/2 Value) but after completing the upgrade process I can't see any indication anywhere in the Member Centre that the upgrade will take place.
Will it appear in the Account Summary soon?

As old Jim states, but there's very little info in my closed tickets.
As for the account overview, no, I doubt it, at least mine hasn't and I ordered on the 4th August.

Suspected a product refresh was due or such like after the portal was down for sales' page update.
Healthy allowance and does address the streaming issues.
Would the choice over taking caller ID or free voicemail (1571) be coming though as this is one thing the voice package is lacking for me and requests made on another post?

yes i would like to ADD thanks PN ,   have enjoyed the 80/20 trial and have signed up for the new Fibre extra , saving myself  £1.50 a month
Keep up the good work. and am chuffed with the 250gb limit increase

This is awesome news. £20 a month for complete epicness (albeit a little slower epicness at 50meg for me). £3.50 increase but who cares! 210GB extra to use now  (Well after Sept 10th)
Still awesome. Plusnet are legends not gonna lie!
Only been on the trial less than 30 days, but plusnet support lot were totally epic at trying to sort the issue of slow speeds with a 100m D-Side. Still, 50meg cant be faulted either now eh.

I have ordered the new service via the website but nothing has changed yet.
Am i right in thinking the changes will only take place after my next billing date?

Yep, 'fraid so.  I've got three weeks to go before I can attempt to 'fry the centrals'. 
I hope 1/4 a TerraByte per month is enough!

Ok -ordered the 80/20 product (transferred from 40/2) - system seems to want to charge me my monthly line rental again even though I'm only 8 months into my yearly prepayment..........hopefully this gets knocked off again later???
