1 Million posts.....nearly!

Just pointing out to anyone that may like to know that we're about to hit 1 million community forum posts.
I guess there's been some very helpful and also some very interesting posts over the years........
A nice milestone to reach though , thanks to everyone that has contributed.

Yeah, we used to host a PHPBB forum on portal.plus.net and imported them across when we set up this site.

Not important but do the stats include the 'imports'?
i.e. is that a Million posts since 4th April 2007 or since some time before?

I assume so, I used to use the old forums and remember having to create a new account on the new (beta back then) forums.
I then had to fill in a form which linked your old username (your PlusNet account name) to the user account on these forums.
Before the old posts were imported the post counts were reset, but after the import they included all the posts from the old forums.

Also realised when you view someone's profile the URL will contain a user ID, which I assume is in cronological order in which the account on these forums was created.
Admin account is obviously No. 1, looks like I'm No. 42 then
I wonder when the forums started .. I think 2002-2003-ish?

One of the forums I help moderate has just passed the 4.5 millionth post. I have been a member on there for nearly 12 years though
