Unfortunately it's not Jack's timer, it's a setting in one of the Admin panels as I understand it. The code is part of the Lithium product and so Jack can't change that, Lithium need to.

I believe that I've also seen it previously - reported again as it's the first instance since installing FF47.

Just tried to update my earlier post to add that I'd used the 'post count' tag to access the thread, not my usual practice.

As for going to the first post, this is an observation we've made in another thread, .

Agreed.  But no signs that lithium accept it as 'bug' - yet.  Angel

Also, I'm not sure that splitting out any posts from here would be a good idea.

I'm not entirely convinced either.  Smiley  The intention was primarily to highlight the symptoms of the early problems with FF46 for new Forum @Users and to identify FF 47 (and its derivatives) as a necessary and effective 'Fix' to reduce the frequency without wading through a very long thread?

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

And of course there was a separate thread on FF46 just to complicate matters.

Re: Authentication error on community - are you affected?

Hi everyone,

I have not seen this error occur in a few weeks and I haven't seen any reports for a while. I have used many mobile phones and a few different computers using a myriad of different browser configurations and not seen this happen again (so far). I am confident that the issue has been resolved but if you are still getting any authentication errors in the community, please do let us know!

Thank you everyone for the previous reports of this.

Remember: If you do encounter this issue and want to report it, please provide screenshots and provide the version number of your browser as well as a timestamp so we can ask Lithium to investigate the server logs to pinpoint the cause. Without this information we will not be able to find out what happened to cause the error.
