Re: Community Feedback Survey

Well it is an issue if it keeps popping up all the time.
There is no reason why it cannot be held at a server database user level, than local machine cookies.

Re: Community Feedback Survey

We've thought long and hard about his this and we understand that for some of you it's frustrating, but we're not going to be pulling the survey. We get around 180 new members every week and it's important that we ask them their opinions. With an average of over 900 completed surveys each month it provides us with invaluable date from our users that we can use to improve the community and provide direct feedback into other areas of the business.

That's easy to achieve. Just ask them for their opinions in the welcome to plusnet email.

Improvements..................coming soon..........................

Re: Community Feedback Survey

@JonoH 180 new members each week ??  so how can they make a good survey sample in such a short time when their experience of PN is so short .

And improve the community and provide direct feedback into other areas of the business. ?  wasnt this suposed to be why the SU group was formed ?

Ps new members will not have heard of the SU group

Re: Community Feedback Survey

Thanks for the feedback @JonoH I do appreciate it. Having said that your figures are interesting, it implies that all new sign-ups are completing the survey, which I doubt and the numbers you quote don’t, in my opinion, correlate directly to the number of new members posting on the forum, so maybe the main site would be the better place after all!

Having read the above you have to remember that I’m an old git, so please take the above with a modicum of salt.

They can give feedback on their journey so far.

The SU's are a huge help in focusing our efforts on what the community would like to see addressed, they've provided us with some great feedback and engaged with the highest levels of our leadership team, but that doesn't mean that we don't want to utilise other feedback opportunities.

Ps new members will not have heard of the SU group

Doesn't matter if they have or if they haven't.

We don't think that all new users fill in the survey, the numbers are somewhat unrelated I was trying (badly) to say that we have an opportunity to directly hear from 180 new people each week, they may not fill it in the first time but may on subsequent visits and that all in all over 900 people a month choose to share their experiences with us, for many this will be the second or third time that they've filled the form in but that's OK because your experiences change.

I think it would say more about us as a company if we didn't care what over 900 individual customers wanted to share with us each month.

Re: Community Feedback Survey

@Anonymous I'd suggest that rather than keep closing the survey, you fill it in every time it pops up with a comment about the frequency of the survey - make sure you do put in a comment every time so someone has to read it. If they are going to waste your time - waste theirs!

Question - does the survey only appear if you are on a Plusnet IP? I've not seen it for yonks.

No, it appears every 3 months after 4 minutes browsing time (assuming you've not deleted the cookie)

Re: Community Feedback Survey

Well if what @JonoH said earlier about taking on-board the feedback is correct, then it explains soooo much about the fora.
