We would absolutely work with PUG, although there might be slightly different aims in the two things, the tools need to inter-operate at the very least.
It's most important though that this interacts with our own internal ideas, customer support centre, project management and prioritisation processes in order for it to work and become central to our development process. To do that it will really need to be a tool we do the bulk of the core development on.
This is my personal top priority for next year - I want us to become driven by our customers and our community, so we can deliver the things first that people actually want most.
So, take

http://usergroup.plus.net/pugit (Especially the moderation and collaboration elements as we absolutely need customers to help us build the solution) and then make it all part of our own Workplace system with the front end on the community site and you have what I want to achieve!
It's an ambitious one, but if it comes off it could be one of the things that really sets us apart from the rest.
