Default font size inside quotes when sending a PM

Is there any particular reason why a quote inside a PM drops the font size
This is a screen print from one I created specially

Never really noticed that before but you're right. Does seem a bit odd TBH. Perhaps one for our SMF guru (Colin). Give this thread a nudge if you've not heard anything by tomorrow and we'll chase it up for you Jim.

There is a question as to whether this should be in the bugs forum.
Thinking about it - is it a bug or a Microsoft Bug AKA by design.
Anyway I think it's a bug so I have moved it.
