Edit post not showing up with "Unread Posts"

if a post is edited, it get the flag in the listing, but does not appear as "unread", even show all unread, so unless you go to the actual big listing you wont know

This may be a bug or alternatively just the way the forum software works.
Either way this is the best place for it. We will need the more expert on forum software (almost everyone compared to me  :-[) to advise
