Error with notification count

I've had the same circle of dots since about the same time but no notification count.  I put it down to my slow internet connection but since others have the same, that can't be the reason.

Well I finally made it.

My notification count had been showing repeatedly as 27 but today it was 101.

There must be some sort of significance in 101. Am I now part of the 101 club.😀

Even with the reinstatement of General Chat I'm still getting this, although I can't put any significance to the value 101. Is this being looked into?

Mine has been showing 49 over the last 2 to 3 weeks. This morning a figure of 76 was showing despite not having posted anything.

I did see this, I've been off work for a few weeks hence why GC was closed for so long but I expected it to be a symptom of us hiding GC. I can see now that it's not. I'm at work again Monday, I'll raise it then,

Sorry it took so long, I thought it was to do with hiding General Chat
