Forum "Who's Online" is broken

The display of "Who's Online" at the bottom of page https://community.plus.net/

is currently showing -

I also doubt whether there are only 9 people logged in at this time !

Re: Forum "Who's Online" is broken

@Anonymous Since around 1400, there have apparently been a max of 11 user on line - numerically - the actual number of visible users has been lower. I didn't see the obviously 'wonky' display that you show earlier, but I do now.

Suspect 'khorus' are at it again.

Re: Forum "Who's Online" is broken

We now have the proper avatar display back - showing 15 users, but the number 'online' is only 11?Huh

Definitely not resolved - as of 07.08 - it looks like this:

Re: Forum "Who's Online" is broken

Maybe it was just having a lie in this horrible wet Saturday morning. Currently 12 Avatars and 12 reported on line.

@SeanD  - Any chance you could investigate. I know it possibly doesn't seem important, but it is nice to know what 'help' is around at times.

Re: Forum "Who's Online" is broken

Good morning @jab1,

Thanks for the heads up.  I have raised a support ticket with Khoros and have asked them to investigate.  Once I receive an update I will post back on this thread.

Cheers

Sean

@Anonymous Don't be so impatient, it will be weeks before Khoros look at it, never mind fix it.🙄

Re: Forum "Who's Online" is broken

Another related problem -

Looking at the LIST of "Users Online", you can see the avatar for 'ukbobboy' is displayed incorrectly -

Screenshot 2023-08-22 at 13-47-57 Users Online - Plusnet Community.png

But if you navigate to 'ukbobboy's profile, the avatar is displayed as intended -

Screenshot 2023-08-22 at 13-48-55 ukbobboy.png

Then if you look at "Who's Online",  the same avatar is displaying in yet another way -

Re: Forum "Who's Online" is broken

@Anonymous I think that avatar is poorly constructed/may be oversize, but I agree it doesn't look good. However, despite me sending @SeanD a number of examples of the real issue in that area - the fact that users who are logged in do not appear thereon - Khorus say they 'can't duplicate the issue' - what, even when they have time-stamped examples?

If I was into conspiracy theory (which I am not), I would be thinking that those higher up were trying to find ways of neutering this forum in the same way they have the BT Broadband one so you see very little of customers concerns, and never see resolutions.
