No thread subsctiptions shown but still receiving email spam

My inbox is getting notification spam when 1/ email notification is turned Off 2/ no threads are subscribed

Did you remember to do the following -

>Settings >Subscriptions & Bookmarks >Notification Settings -

Uncheck Automatically subscribe me to all topics or reviews I participate in  Then further down the page, select Never in all the relevant boxes, then click Save at the bottom of the page.

>My Settings >Subscriptions & Bookmarks >My Subscriptions - Delete all (on all pages)

I've just been down this route for similar reasons.

Now see what is happening, its the second account that was made when I used my normal default email address when doing a pw reset, which I can no longer login to it even though i changed the login name. So will have to wait for Chris to delete it

Can't you log in to the 2nd account and change the settings in the meantime?

Nope I can't login in to it any more as i changed the login name of the second account and changed my current email address linked to my real forum account here to my normal email so cant force a pw reset on it. So can someone with enough access remove the email notifications and subscriptions on "notGus", or better yet delete it.

I've removed the email notifications from notGus for you and selected 'Do not email me'

We don't want to delete it just yet as we want to use it as an example of one of the duplicate users migrated over (The accounts that got duplicated and added a 1 to the name)
