Ok, I have not read the archive but is that really a good enough reason not to be able to talk about Rams & Ewes, Bulls & Cows and Dogs & Bitches. I think Bitch should be allowed. I always wonder what would happen if I named a type of sword.... lets try it.... Bastard Sword.

When I started this thread, yonks ago.. There was talk of an overhaul with interested parties being invited to take part, I never heard a thing. What a load of carp

We (the moderators) have reviewed the swear filter and are happy with its contents. I have to say the inclusion of the singular for Bitches is one that troubles me, but unfortunately some choose to use it in a way that offensive.
Our remit is to ensure that this forum remains family and inoffensive, we therefore aim to keep things as clean as possible.
And sorry god just because you asked for crap to be removed does not mean we have too!

Quite correct, you don't have to remove it because I asked you to.
What ever happened to the group of people who registered an interest in reviewing the filter content being allowed to participate? Was it decided by the moderators that only the moderators needed to be involved?

I know I promised it, but I'm not a moderator any more, so I can no longer facilitate the changes needed.
Perhaps one of the existing mods will create an invite only board for you, so that you can have the discussion without risk of offending anybody.
