SMF Ignore User Mod

Could TPTB please consider implementing the SMF ignore user mod?
While ignoring a thread started by a user is easy, ignoring posts within a thread is more problematic especially where such posts are long. Implementing the above mod would at least collapse the content of these posts and give the option to click on a button to see the post content.
Alternatively any other implementation of SMF ignore lists would be welcomed.
Many thanks.

That might be a god idea but it will be on no advantage to me at all as I have to check all the posts where problems can be expected.

I would support this request.
It would also be useful for some folks to be able to ignore whole boards potentially.

I have to admit that I don't know what SMF or TPTB means.
But if an SMF Ignore User mod is in effect a troll filter, then the sooner this is implemented the better. Some recent threads have put me off browsing this forum, it doesn't appear to be the friendly, lighthearted place it once was.

Thanks jelv
Hopefully whilst blundering about without knowing how it all works I've not caused too much damage
