Site Errors (Slow pages, slow posting, connection reset, uploads failing)

Yes, just as i was trying to post it seemed to break for 'about 20 minutes' (wild guess on the time, wasn't looking at the clock).

Was around 7:55am this morning I couldn't access the site from any browser. I think 20 mins is about right.

Response times are pretty appalling for me today.  Even reading the Forums is sluggish - typically about 15 - 20 secs to change between topics.  Other sites I'm using are fine.

The ops guys did some traffic captures and couldn't see this across quite a bit of data.  Obviously something wasn't quite right.  I'll flag it back in.  What's that from btw?  Firewall log?

Those messages are from the Linux kernel iptables in my router, read by running the dmesg command. I like to add an extra logging rule by running "iptables -A INPUT -j LOG --log-level info" to log everything that would otherwise be silently discarded.

Was the forum down for about 30 minutes this morning from 7.00 ish?
I was browsing, got kicked out then Google telling me it couldn't reconnect.

Wget could pull the pages fine.
