If you click the filename, it will download the image for you to open with the program of your choice, or optionally save it somewhere. (so that aspect sounds as per the design)
Dunno why the image itself isn't showing for you, its showing for me (and looks as if Shutter can see it fine too)
Perhaps a hard refresh might make it play?

Yes.... I saw it just after you posted it.... 
Saw your post in the other forum, and as you say, might have been firefox  I`m using IE6
