Strange response to posting a reply

Attempting to post a short reply to a post I got the attached Error response: No obvious errors to correct so tried to post again.  Same error message.  Cancelled the post in preparation to go around the loop again with a fresh start.

Back at the Topic only to discover that the 'Reply' had actually been posted?

I had the same error response a couple of weeks ago, no error I could see and it resulted in a double post.
