The ignore feature on this lithium forum does not work

The ignore feature on this lithium forum does not work. I have used many forums and when you put someone on ignore, it should hide their posts/replies so you can't see them.

This forum does not do any of that and you can still see the post from the person, who are on ignore.

Please sort this or get lithium forums to sort it.

@Mars2050 - This (the ability to ignore) only applies to Private Messages (PM), I've already mentioned it.

Can't see the point of ignoring (not seeing) posts as then the flow and/or meaning of the thread can be lost with pertinent information being missed.

Hi mav. That is how it works on most forums and if you want to ignore someone, then it don't matter if you don't see the replies as part of a thread.

I have used, been on forums such as old phpBB and Vbulletin that offers this, and work perfectly well.

If the payment option on at plusnet, didn't work as it should would you tell a customer not to pay or they are more than welcome, not to use it? Or any other part for that matter of fact.

I don't thinks so. Why have a feature from a useless forum designer like lithium, that don't work like it should.

Just because it doesn't work how you would like it to, does not mean it's not working as it should.

Well it don't work like it should. Ignore user list should be all from that user. that posts on the forum.

Maybe one of you programmers, clever members can make a script or add on for Firefox , other browse, that can be installed and do the job properly. Something like this for another forum type.
