It's API call related issue in the competent. I have access to edit but not knowledge to be confident i'll make changes safely.
I'll do another call to see if i can get some engineering support to assist/oversee this.

@Baldrick1 I would tend to agree with that BUT I'm just wondering if someone is trying to hide another point I raised above - namely, that for some inexplicable reason, even if you are still logged in and posting, you are apparently offline, one hour after either logging in, or, as in my case as I never log out, starting your device?

Nothing is untoward here - there have been no published dev changes into the live Plusnet Community since 2022.
This is purely an API bug that ideally I'd like to fix with the right knowledge and experience at hand. I will see if we can work through the suggested fix from Khoros alongside some engineering support.

Fair enough, @NickBS , but if there have been no published dev changes since 2022, my question, based on my experience over many years of computer program specification, implementation and development leads me to question the record keeping at Khorus - as I think I have said before, computer programs do not change themselves - there is usually some human involvement.
I hope you can resolve it.

This issue has been around for a very long time. I doubt that it is anything to do with Jack's customisation (is he still with the business?) as this is a core module.
From historic experience I think this is related to the "keep logged in" setting and being logged in but not active for over an hour. Though I have also seen situations where I have posted ... and still am not listed.
Previously this function has been very useful in identifying if a particular person is on-line and thus available for a dialogue. In times past I have been able to poke issues OOH to staff I have found online after the support desk has closed.
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
If this post helped, please click the Thumbs Up and if it fixed your issue, please click the This fixed my problem green button below.

@Townman I think your 'From historic experience I think this is related to the "keep logged in" setting and being logged in but not active for over an hour.' comment, although a possibility, is maybe slightly wrong. I have checked, because I like to make sure I post reasonably accurate information where possible, and - for me at least - I am 'logged out' exactly one hour after opening the forum tab, even though I am still active. This has been happening for a long time, and is not so easy to prove these days as it was two or three months back - there seems to be little activity on here after about 2030, and therefore few posts for me to respond to.
Previously, I could come to a long list first thing in a morning, which could keep me active for a while, and there then would be the responses to my early morning posts, which meant that I could be 'active' for considerably longer than an hour.
