Hello all,
This is probably a thread that won't get much attention, but it could be of some assistance to people that have switched over from BT Infinity. I have grown to like the Hub 3 as it looks sleek, stands upright and fits in nicely with my computer area where most parts are black. Unlike the Technicolor 582n which is very white but still a good router none the less, but the BT Hub has a dedicated Fibre port, leaving an extra 3 Megabit and 1 Gigabit port. Instead of the 3 on 582n.
The Hub I used was the BT Business Hub 3 so I am unsure how this differs to the home version, so the below may be slightly different.
The router looks like this;
First of all you need to find out your setting provided by Plusnet which can be found here; https://portal.plus.net/my.html?s=0&action=refresh_browser
And you want to grab the Login name which I have edited to remove my information but the full information would be required;
The password would have been generated when you originally signed up with Plusnet.
Anyway, once you have the details, you can disconnect your router that you have in use and plug in the Hub 3, browse to it by going to http://192.168.1.254 or http://api.home
Select configure next to the router details as shown;
Enter the admin password on the router, and fill in your Login Name and the password and click connect.
It may take a minute but the Orange B light should turn blue and you are off!
Hopefully this is posted in the right section and hopefully this has helped the needed
Regards,
Rick

Thanks for the post, There's an article in the Community Support Library Using a BT Homehub 3 or 2 on Plusnet ADSL or FTTC.
The article could be enhanced by including your picture - any objections to me using it (copyright?)?
