What happened earlier.....?

Marking this solved and moving on.

A few minutes a go, the router hadn't dropped, the ethernet cable was still plugged in, I did have multiple posts open, reading and then closing each tab, got to the last one, closed that too.

Refreshed the recent posts page and got this (just to reiterate, no BB drop and cabled to the router):

I must be using it too much

(I can't see the above being caused by my browser either....?)

Clicking on view all, shows 3 users online, these are:

The top one is normally there, guess the second user could be causing this and doubt the third user is the cause.

Hopefully be the time those forum users currently asleep are online, they will not be seeing the same......?

@DS - yep, it's broken again, no HTML, no formatting, and clicking my avatar only brings up my profile, not the usual options. GRRRR!!

AND the edit function is not available!!! Strangely, when I first opened the forums at about 7.30, it worked OK.

Yes it looks as though something has broken Jack’s customisations - I’m seeing the post options broken when using the forum on my iPhone. I’ll check it out on the desk top after sorting the dog!

The "Mark all posts read" button seems to have disappeared.

There is a lot broken here, but it does seem that one of my long term bugbears (screens jumping around and taking ages to load on MS Edge is now fixed Happy times!

...and reading notifications only works via the button at bottom of screen rather than via member icon - Groundhog day! (no emoticon - they've disappeared.)

So I check my phone, not expecting anyone to have the same. (12 email alerts in total) Get the laptop out, but can't actually click the notifications to get to the replies (and if this was planned, where's the post telling us!) But thanks Jab1, Townman and Jono for replying as at least I know I'm not alone:)

Never mind the daft edit time limit. This forum has become my laugh of the morning. When I need cheering up I come here to see the latest, often repeating, mess. Its become a mirror of the billing problems. We're fixing it, it's getting sorted. soon........................
