Why can Plusnet staff flout the forum rules?

Matthew Scully Plusnet Technical Support Analyst Wont be BEAT on price

and everybody would be happy!

The forum rules don't specifically cover the situation where text and graphics are mixed
Under these circumstances I work on the basis of of - does the overall signature fall within the 100px vertical graphic limit.
Clearly this signature doesn't break that and as such is acceptable

cover that?

As Colin pointed out "Signatures should use no more space than 5 lines of standard sized text would, this includes any blank lines and images you choose to use" explicitly covers mixed text and graphics.
It was clearly against the forum rules.

I have no intention of continuing this argument about the forum rules.
We are not picking and choosing - we are interpreting the rules in the manner they were intended to be understood when we wrote them.
if you want to take this further I suggest you take it up using the laid down procedure.
