"New" icons not showing

I raised this before, but I think it got lost,
When going to the check the individual pages, for example "Community site bugs",  The place holders for the "new" icon is there, but not the icon.  Not a great headache, as I can still identify the new posts, but I thought it worth mentioning

Have you tried a CTRL+F5 when you are on the page with the missing icons?

Rather than start a new thread - who had the bright idea to change the new post icon to a pale orange - not exactly obvious

Tried ctrl F5 didn't work.  The output is simialr to what happens when the forum goes looking for an avatar that isn't there.  You get the holder, but no picture.

The new icon is too small and very difficult to read!
Also why did you move to the the start rather than where it was at the end of the subject? I keep clicking on where the new used to be and getting the first post

Next time it happens can you right click the placeholder and find me the image URL and post it here?

According to the properties, the image is at:
http://community.plus.net/forum/Themes/plusnet-new/images/english_british-utf8/new.gif
Assuming others aren't having the same issue (at least no-one else has mentioned it), this must be  the correct URL.
Why would I be the only one not getting the image?
It's not a big deal, and doesn't prevent me using the site, (I've just got a different "new" notification to other users), but it's a mystery.

Your language is set to something different, and the images don't exist in that directory... in fact I don;t think the directory exists at all.
Solution found and will add to the list I'm compiling just now...

Fine.  As I said, it doesn't prevent me using the forum, so I don't mind really.  I'm a little intrigued that my language was set to "something different".  I assume that's the "english_british-utf8" bit of the address, but don't know how that would come about.
