Hello,

Please can you unarchive my two email accounts, the default one beginning with 'p', and the other beginning with 'g' .

Thank you.

Hi @Adrasta

We've raised that for you now and it should be unarchived soon

Re: Archived mailbox? Request for it to be unarchived here! (Part 2)

Please unarchive the mailbox beginning with "i"

Is there any way I can check the current size of a mailbox? I'm usually told by the email account users that they have reduced the size but I'm not sure if they are failing to empty mailboxes, Outlook is ignoring the rule to remove deleted messages from the server or the big files are sitting on the Plusnet servers and never get downloaded locally to be assessed  - the only way of telling if we are still over seems to be to wait for the "congratulations, you have been archived!" message)

(using the joke webmail doesn't count, nobody has time to wait for it to try and respond, let alone try to use it for anything)

Many IMAP email clients have the means of reporting the size of folders, both the sever size and the local size.  For example, with (proper) Outlook, right click a folder, select properties and there is a folder size button.

DELETED ITEMS folders are cleared out weekly by Plusnet's automated house keeping - it would be worth confirming that the email clients are configured to MOVE deleted items to the trash folder.

As for Webmail performance, have you read the sticky post on optimising webmail performance related to sort order?

Re: Archived mailbox? Request for it to be unarchived here! (Part 2)

Thanks for the suggestions - that "Folder Size" on Outlook is well hidden (you'd think it would be one of the right-click options Smiley )

Looks like plenty of big "sent" attachments need clearing out:)

I only mentioned webmail as its the recommended way of managing the mailbox size n the outdated auto-archive message.  I' don't hate myself enough to actually use it outside of an emergency;)

Re: Archived mailbox? Request for it to be unarchived here! (Part 2)

I find displaying the SIZE column on mail folders useful. Given I’ve worked like that for years, I do not recall if that is a default column in Mail folder views. Its a useful column to search on when wanting to get a fast focus on what to cull.

Re: Archived mailbox? Request for it to be unarchived here! (Part 2)

Please can you check if my emails have been archived, and unarchive them if they have been? They disappeared today but I did not receive a warning about it. I am using IMAP so it's not been deleted on my side. Thanks

Please can my archived emails be restored please.

Re: Archived mailbox? Request for it to be unarchived here! (Part 2)

Hello my mailbox has been archived again it seems - all my messages before 4th July are missing??? Also there is nothing in my sent messages. Could it please be unarchived. I have not exceeded the limit I don't think, and didn't receive any warning. I urgently need to access some emails for evidence for a case.
