Moving to BT but hoping to carry my Madasafish email with me?

Hello good people of the forum,
Can anyone tell me if its at all possible to keep my d*******e@madasafish.com email address alive and continued with BT when the switch in broadband provider is made on the 16/10/2023? It is my main email address and has been used since owning my first PC (Win Me era) and my wife and I are attached to it as it always brings questions and laughs when we are asked to supply it and really would like to keep it... forever!
Is that too much to ask...

Hi there, that should be no problem as Madasafish email addresses are entirely separate to broadband & home phone accounts with Plusnet, so closing one account won’t affect the other. I hope this helps.

Just to clarify, Plusnet would still provide the Madasafish account and email address though, following the transfer of your broadband and/or phone to BT.

Shouldn’t need to contact Plusnet.
If you let BT know you’re moving from another provider, they should be able to place the order to activate their services in such a way that closes your account our side (without affecting your Madasafish account).
