I am having to create a new POP3 profile in Outlook for my Plus net mail, but I am either getting a continuous prompt for my password (which I know) or the following message:-
Log onto incoming mail server (POP3): Your email server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password for this account in Account Settings. The server responded: -ERR Login failed.
What can I do?

@regfran Welcome to the Plusnet Community Fora.
Which of the many versions of Outlook are you trying to set up?
I have found that you cannot use the automatic set up feature correctly as it incorrectly guesses parmeters. Try the manual version and if you can't get it to work then, disguising you personal details, post screen shots of the set up page settings here, where further advice will, I'm sure, be forthcoming.

Thank you for responding. I don't know how to post screen shots.

Save the screenshot to a file on your PC,
then in the forum editor click on the "Insert Photos" symbol (above the edit window) -
then click on "Choose Files", and navigate to where you stored your screenshot, and select the file(s),
click on "Done", and the image file(s) will upload to the Plusnet forum and appear in your reply.
