similar to this older thread....
https://community.plus.net/t5/Email/SPF-record/m-p/1741925
1: I own a domain
2: I would like to be able to send mail using the plusnet mail server (as a backup to the real domain host which is UK2)
3: Various receivers mark this as spam, because the SPF does not match the mail relays used by Plusnet (fair enough)
4: So I need to create an extra SPF record for my domain
What is the latest record, and how do I add it ?
Currently I have in the DNS text records for mydomain.co.uk this :
v=spf1 include:_spf.hostedemail.com ~all
Looking at a spam tagged email via plusnet SMTP it has:
ARC-Authentication-Results: i=1; imf22.hostedemail.com; dkim=none; dmarc=fail reason="No valid SPF, No valid DKIM" header.from=mydomain.co.uk (policy=none); spf=softfail (imf22.hostedemail.com: 84.93.230.227 is neither permitted nor denied by domain of mailbox@mydomain.co.uk)
Now I could delete the v=spf text on the DNS (unwise ?) or what would I add to make sure any of the servers plusnet might have are deemed OK (I assume that is where imf22.hostedemail.com comes in ?)
thanks for thoughts
Bill

You need to add
include:_spf-internal.plus.net include:_spf-internal2.plus.net
to your existing spf record ( you can only have one )
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
