Are Pusnet currently doing any offers on ADSL?
I am currently on FTTP with Vodafone, which they have now agreed to wave any early termination charges due to my getting lttle more than I got with Plusnet ADSL TWO years ago!

Have you checked the BT Broadband Availability Checker to see whether ADSL is still available to order on your exchange, as in many areas that option to order a new connection has been withdrawn.
Do you also need the use of an analogue telephone service on that ADSL connection ? if not you would be better off searching for "SOADSL" offers that give you a copper pair for ADSL without the associated phone capability, and should cost less.

I assume you mean FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet). If you were on FTTP then there would be something seriously wrong with your connection if only getting ADSL speeds.
The Checker results will not only show what's available but the estimated speeds you should be receiving.

@cbcadmin I've seen your thread on Thinkbroadband which seems to have caused a bit of a stir. Basically how would anyone in their right mind want to go from FTTP to mobile broadband. It is obvious you are a serial ISP switcher but FTTP is the best thing since sliced bread. I accept you have had a bad experience with Vodafone but with decent ISP you would have a very reliable internet connection, how about going for Plusnet FTTP?
You have been warned to expect a lot of problems with a mobile broadband service. I would agree with that advice.
From the TBB thread it appears your exchange is Fibre Priority so if FTTP is available which you have already I have feeling that no other service can be ordered. Have you looked at the checker results?
@bmc It is definitely FTTP on a 40/10 service, there is a photographic evidence of the ONT. I can't imagine what Vodafone are doing to cause such poor speeds.☹️

@cbcadmin ,I'd suggest getting in touch with Andrews & Arnold - they are renown for resolving broadband problems that other ISPs can't resolve. If they can't fix it in a month then you pay nothing for their attempt and that month. They aren't the cheapest for FTTP, but you aren't locked into a long contract - it would almost certainly be cheaper to get them to fix your FTTP than to buy a good 4G/5G router.

According to that Checker result, you can get either SoGEA FTTC or WBC FTTP, and that's it - no ADSL.

@jab1 I said in my earlier post I believe it is only FTTP that can be ordered. There are some exceptions as noted in the checker result text ..."SOGEA will show as available to order but only at non standard premises (NSP) such as Hot site, Uninhabitable and Temporary locations."
I wonder what a Hot site is.🤔
So only FTTP and certainly no ADSL.

Get you, @RealAleMadrid , but SoGEA FTTC is showing as 'AVAILABLE' on the OPs screenshot.
Think I might leave this discussion, though - it's beginning to do my head in. 😉

No definately FTTP. Was hoping Plusnet could sort out the problem, but it says 36/9 is no longer available, despite my typing from it atm.
Strange... Was 40/10 ever available on FTTP? I don't know, though I am currently on 40/10 - but that is on FTTC (and still with a landline) not on FTTP.
"Not available" from a supplier could simply mean "No longer on sale" (presumably connected with the impending demise of landlines?) rather than no longer in use.

Typically an electricity substation, where under fault conditions the earth potential could rise to over 400V.
