Correct

I can reach the NS&I home page (https://www.nsandi.com) and read all about their products and services, but as soon as I click the Login button, which is supposed to take you to https://secure.nsandi.com, the connection is interrupted and I get the message that the site has taken too long to respond, and I should contact my ISP.

Strange, @Clarissa  - I can get the login page if I go via the homepage.

I also have this exact issue. I did speak to support but didn't really have any luck. Hopefully, the Plusnet guys will see that this is not isolated and get it sorted.

Same issue here using any of the suggestions above.

No issue reaching the Log In page if using a VPN.

As others have reported

I can log in via PN only if I have a VPN connection active (laptop or iphone); I can also log in on my iphone using the mobile connection.

Hi Clarissa, I've been experiencing the same issue. Spoke to support (Matthew, very helpful thanks!).
I had a fixed IP address on my account and that seemed to be causing the problem. I don't need it so removed it from the account and that's sorted it.
Alternatively use a VPN, Matthew suggested using the Opera browser with built in VPN which worked too as a workaround before we got rid of the fixed IP.

Well I certainly can't reach it from a dynamic IP!

My home connection is a static but I'm on holiday and by chance the apartment has a Plusnet connection , dynamic in the 87.115... subnet

I have a static IP address 80.229.xxx.xxx and I cannot login into my NS&I account , fortunately the NS&I app works so I was able to check I am not a winner this month.

I see a syn_sent when attempting to login "TCP    192.168.10.100:53142   157.203.60.156:443     SYN_SENT"

and to confirm what @jab1 reported earlier, it doesnt work from a Zen connection either.

Tried VPN to the Office which is on a block of Zen static IPs.

Looks like its affecting most (if not all) of the BT network ?

I'm confused:

It appears to me that for all Plusnet users, https://secure.nsadndi.com does not work, but some of us, myself included, can log in via NS&I's home page? However, for some, eg @Clarissa, that does not work either?

What might cause that difference between PN customers?

Do Zen have some sort of connection with the BT network?
