Do Zen have some sort of connection with the BT network?

Yes, they use BT Wholesale. At least for some of their connections , which includes our office FTTC.

If it seems so many are affected it would be nice for Plusnet to comment. I have a static IP address for what it's worth but this is required for work purposes.

The question is, is it an issue on the BT network or are NS & I blocking IP address ranges for some reason.

I check on the day using Google App (other apps are available), I also receive email notifications a few days later if I've won. 

So no I haven't used that link, but I do see the login page for that now.

It works for me on Zen but my Zen fibre is provided via City Fibre thus it would appear to be an Openreach issue. Zen do use the Openreach network where City Fibre is not available.

This is rather strange but just tested again on my PN line with still no access but switching to SWMBO's connection (also PN, same bungalow) I do have access. Back to mine again and no access as before.

Not sure if it's important but the app works just fine from my connection.

Is that the traceroute that doesn't work, or the login to NS&I. Or both?

Works for me (login-wise) on a Plusnet provided FTTP connection.

Minor obs. NS&I moved to 2-factor authentication a (little) while back. You require a mobile reception to obtain the second factor (as a very plain text message).

It seems those that are reporting the issue, myself included, aren't even able to access the login page to advance to 2-factor authentication.

I don't have enough knowledge to answer that but can say that both SWMBO and myself have static IPs.

I have read upthread and think I see someone not on a Pnet connection has the same problem? So I've shot myself in the foot,

Similar problem here. Plusnet Fixed IP address.

I can connect via 4G and VPN. Can't get to login page otherwise - no error message or timeout, just does nothing.
