I was due to move house on 25/11 but the purchase house fell through. I still sold my house.
I contacted Plus net on the 18/11 and they said they would close my account but marked on it i had until 20 Feb to find a new house to avoid paying fees for cancelling whilst in contract. However emails and texts continued to be sent to me saying the router was being sent to new address and engineer booked as it was full fibre.
Yesterday i phoned the home movers team and because i had been a customer for many years they felt it was better to just close the account completely and when i was in new house set up a new account.
HOWEVER he failed to say i would not be able to use my plusnet email address at all. Everything is set up to this email and its a nightmare not being able to use it. Surely he should have pointed this out?
I am staying temporarily with relatives and struggling with the phone reception to speak to someone.
Can anyone tell me have i lost all use of the email address now?

Hey @kate1064,
I'm very sorry to hear about this. I'm afraid that if the mailbox component on the account has been deleted, we wouldn't be able to reinstate it at this stage. I am very sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused. I would advise to use an alternative email service that can be setup for free, such as gmail or Yahoo! email, moving forwards.
