I'm not technical at all so I'm totally confused here! Later this year we will be staying in a caravan at a well known park. Our son wants to take his PS4 (I know!) but we don't used wifi. I asked the park if we could connect using ethernet and was told it depended on my provider. Can someone please explain this to me!!

If you are using the parks internet - if they have any - it depends entirely on their setup - it will not 'depend on your provider' at all.

I cant imagine there will be an ethernet connection to a caravan!. The park MAY provide wifi but I suspect it wont be fast.. I suspect their reply is based on an assumption that you will be using a 4g or 5g connection via your own equipment, which may or may not have an ethernet connection.

How about just telling your son it can't be done so you can have some digital detox time togehter.

That is my plan. I'm asking so he can see it can't be done but I want to understand the answer I was given.
