I have FTTP, but neighbours cannot get it.

I moved to a new house a year ago and got FTTP.
My neighbour, two doors from me has been here around 8 years but cannot not get it, according to your site.
We have the same postcode and he's about 15m from me.
I know for a fact that the whole Park should be able to get, but for some reason no one in my postcode can get it, even the people right next to the telegraph pole!
Why is that?

@N7ck What does https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL say if your neighbour (and others) say in the narrative at the bottom if they enter their phone numbers?

@N7ck

You can use the Address version of the Checker to look up your neighbours. Enter the post code only and select addresses from the drop down list. Check the narrative between your address and the others.

I cannot check this at the moment as I don't know they're landline numbers and I'm not at home. I have just done a search at moneysupermarket and other providers are offering up to 1Gbps.

Re: I have FTTP, but neighbours cannot get it.

Bit of an irritating issue on that site as I cannot enter my neighbours (or my) address.
My house number is 1a, but you can only enter a number!
But this is for the person where the fttp pole is located pretty much in her back garden:

It says its both available and not available

@N7ck

Do your house using the phone number.

Brian

Edit : Is your house not listed on the drop down list.

That looks very strange, @N7ck

Re: I have FTTP, but neighbours cannot get it.

I have no problem, if I search my address on plusnet I get the option for FTTP and already have it.
My main reason for enquiring is that my neighbour is paying £35 a month for 20Mbps, whereas I'm paying less than that and have 500Mbps!

Just enter the postcode, you should then be able to select an address from the drop-down list

It says its both available and not available

Neither show it available, one shows FTTP on Demand but what you are looking for is WBC FTTP !

@N7ck

What does the narrative say for your house.

Re: I have FTTP, but neighbours cannot get it.

Didn't get that option before...
Tried to copy the text, but could not for some reason:

Rather annoyingly, the attach image option is not available in mobile view, have to keep switching to desktop view!

Re: I have FTTP, but neighbours cannot get it.

@N7ck above you said

But this is for the person where the fttp pole is located pretty much in her back garden

which would imply overhead distribution but your narrative says 'UG feed' which is underground ?Huh

Re: I have FTTP, but neighbours cannot get it.

@MisterW Could that be because the previous owners were rich, and got FTTP On Demand?
