Re: Is Full Fibre available to me? How to tell?

The postcode checker states FTTP not yet available for our address but it seems Ultrafast Full Fibre 1000Mbps is available now for virtually every other property in our postcode area 🤔

Re: Is Full Fibre available to me? How to tell?

Yes, thanks, @markhawkin , I’ve looked into virtually every possibility (and tried a local 4G antenna and router - professionally installed) but we’re fairly rural with poor mobile coverage on all networks and ,come what may, can’t seem to get a stable upload speed above 5Mbps. It doesn’t help that the local community keep resisting proposals for the installation of a 4G/5G mast around 1Km away, which I think could also be a solution to my woes. Hence switching my attention back to the possibility of full fibre. It’ll come… but I was just trying to get a handle on whether I should/could be pushing for a connection in the near future.

Thanks,

Re: Is Full Fibre available to me? How to tell?

@MCC1969  So there is FTTP nearby, I suggest you try this enquiry form...

https://www.openreach.com/forms/fibre-broadband-availability---customer-form

If you get nowhere with that you can email the CEO  of Openreach, his office staff will investigate. The email address is pretty much public knowledge if you do a search.

Best of luck.😁

The broadband checker report shows that FTTP is not available.
