Static IP address won’t activate

With reference this topic, I'm experiencing the same symptoms when attempting to 'Activate Your Static IP'.

- the webpage reloads but nothing changes and still says I am on a dynamic IP address.

- router rebooted

- various devices and browsers used to active.

Please could someone assist.
