Telephone support not changing IPSTAG as requested!

I wish to change my domain registrar to LCN, whose ISPTAG is simply LCN.

I have phoned Plusnet support and explained this 3 times over the past 2 months, and each time the representative assured me that they had made the required change, but whenever I check with LCN or do a WHOIS lookup I see that the ISPTAG is still FORCE9 so I can't move my domain registrar.

What do I have to do to get someone at Plusnet to make this simple change properly please?

My domain is pchappell.co.uk

@PeterChappell basically , you post here! A staff member will pick this up and request the change for you.

Customer support do not have the ability to make the change themselves, they need to make the request via NetOps which is what the staff member who picks this up will do.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Hi @PeterChappell 

 

I'm sorry this hasn't been done yet. I've checked the task we raised for you and that all looks fine, it got triaged (by myself) on the 16th and sent on to the BT Netops team, they have a backlog of such tasks at the moment and it's taking 2 to 3 weeks in some cases for such things to be turned around. 

 

Really sorry for the delay, it will be done soon.

Thank you for explaining this. It is still very disappointing and a waste of time that telephone support did not inform me that I needed to post on the forum to get this actioned.

However, I have just done a Whois search on my domain and it is now pointing to my new registrar. Thanks.
